In July 1989 Council consent was sought for a multi-use facility in the Slip Bight Marina in conjunction with the berth owners.
A preliminary meeting was held with the Shire in September 1990, at which the club re-affirmed its desire to share a multi-use facility in the Slip Bight Marina complex.
During 1991 the first draft plan was produced. Negotiations were held with the Shire, the Dept of Planning and The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and adjustments were made to the plans.
In Sept 1992 the Coastal Management and co-ordinating committee approved the project and set conditions. In July 1993 the building of the present clubhouse was commenced.
The club house opened for trading on April 1st 1994, and was officially opened on 13th June, 1994.
At the club's Annual General Meeting held on October 18, 2014, the following Office Bearers were elected:

The PMCC is a popular "Functions Venue".
Interest in our premises as an excellent location for a reception is steadily increasing. As members will know, the facility has everything needed to provide for such an occasion. The view and surrounding environment adds another dimension, culminating in a near perfect venue.
